In his role as a Facility Manager, Fred is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all of the buildings his organization controls. Since this is a large and important role, Fred has several other employees that report to him. Fred manages the big picture while his employees are typically the ones doing maintenance on site.
Old-School
Selfless
Personality
As the Facility Manager, Fred is ultimately responsible for the systems and maintenance of all of the buildings in his organization. This means he is responsible for both their day-to-day operations as well as larger strategic initiatives such as increasing energy efficiency, reducing cost, proactively upgrading systems when necessary, decreasing occupant complaints, and managing the maintenance staff. Because of all of these responsibilities, Fred is often very busy and issues that arise may require quick action.
Fred is also quite independent and has always liked taking things apart and putting them back together. He has always been a natural problem solver. While he likes having a solid team around him, he doesn't like having to rely on outside parties to do things he feels like he should be able to take care of himself. He prefers having the freedom to make the decision he thinks is best instead of being locking in with contracts or other limitations.
